At DayTour Bacalar, we believe travel is a way to connect: with nature, with other cultures and, often, with ourselves. Bacalar inspires us every day, not only because of its beauty, but because of everything it represents: history, tranquility, biodiversity and community.

We are a local team that deeply loves this corner of the world. Some of us were born here; others arrived and decided to stay for good. What we all share is the desire to show Bacalar to people who value it as much as we do. We are driven by our love for this place and by the wish that our guests experience something authentic, meaningful and connected.

What Inspires Us

Bacalar inspires us, of course. But so do the people who arrive eager to learn, to be amazed and to let themselves be surprised. We are inspired by clear-sky days, peaceful sunrises, laughter from the dock, curious questions and even those unexpected conversations that happen on board.

Every outing is different because every group is different. And we love that. We are motivated to create spaces where people feel comfortable, connected with nature and aware of the value of this ecosystem.

We also believe in doing things right, even when it takes more time or effort. That is why we reduce the use of plastics, collaborate with cleanup and conservation projects and constantly look for ways to improve without harming what we love. Our sustainability program reflects this commitment.

DayTour Bacalar was born from love for this place and continues to grow thanks to those who, like us, believe tourism can be a way to care for and celebrate what surrounds us.
